Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., incorporated on April 7, 2015, is a metals service center company in North America (the United States and Canada). As of December 31, 2016, the Company's network of metals service centers operated over 300 locations in 39 states in the United States and in 12 other countries (Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom). As of December 31, 2016, the Company provides metals processing services and distributes a range of more than 100,000 metal products, including alloy, aluminum, brass, copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium and specialty steel products, to over 125,000 customers in a range of industries. Its various metals service centers process and distribute only specialty metals. It delivers a range of products from facilities located across the United States and Canada. The Company's subsidiaries include American Metals Corporation and Earle M. Jorgensen Company.

The Company operates metals service centers under various names, including Reliance Divisions, All Metal Services, Allegheny Steel Distributors, Inc., Aluminum and Stainless, Inc., American Metals Corporation, AMI Metals, Inc., Best Manufacturing, Inc. It also services the auto industry, primarily through its toll processing operations. As of December 31, 2016, it had a fleet of approximately 1,710 trucks.

The Company provides a range of processing services for its customers' specifications and delivers products to fabricators, manufacturers and other end users. Its Carbon Steel products include carbon steel plate, carbon steel structurals, carbon steel tubing, carbon steel bar, hot-rolled steel sheet and coil, galvanized steel sheet and coil, and cold-rolled steel sheet and coil; Aluminum products include aluminum bar and tube, heat-treated aluminum plate, common alloy aluminum sheet and coil, common alloy aluminum plate, and heat-treated aluminum sheet and coil; Stainless Steel products, such as stainless steel bar and tube, stainless steel sheet and coil and stainless steel plate, and alloy products include alloy bar and rod, alloy tube, and alloy plate, sheet and coil. It is also engaged in toll processing of aluminum, carbon steel and stainless steel, and also offers miscellaneous products, including brass, copper and titanium.
