Foot Locker, Inc., incorporated on April 7, 1989, is a retailer of shoes and apparel. The Company operates through two segments: Athletic Stores and Direct-to-Customers. As of January 28, 2017, the Company operated 3,363 primarily mall-based stores, as well as stores in high-traffic urban retail areas and high streets, in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. As of January 28, 2017, the Company operated franchised stores in Germany under the Runners Point banner. A total of 74 franchised stores were operating as of January 28, 2017, of which 54 were operating in the Middle East, 15 in Germany, and five in the Republic of Korea.
