How Multi Asset ETFs Work?

Multi asset exchange-traded funds work by diversifying the investments across multiple asset classes, as indicated in the investment objective. These funds are suitable for investors who are looking for a higher degree of diversification, beyond the stocks and bonds. Adding such ETFs to the portfolio may offer spreading the risk. However, one must note that the performance of such funds may vary widely, and they may not perform as expected during all seasons. The expense ratio of such funds may also be very high, as special research and analysis is required to run such funds. One must invest in them only after assessing the fitment to ones needs.
