Micro-Cap Blend ETF exchange-traded funds (ETF) are those ETFs which invest in the stocks of the companies which are in lowest range as per their market capitalization. Micro cap companies are the ones whose market cap is lower than a value of $300 million. These micro-cap blend ETFs form a sub-set of the larger Micro-Cap ETFs (see list), as this sub-group specifically uses the 'blend' style of investing. It is a method which mixes a group of growth and value stocks offering a single instrument to trade a diversified portfolio of value and growth stock. While the following list contains only those blend ETFs which focus on the small-cap stocks and similar investments, there are other Blend ETFs (see list) which focus on other ranges of market capitalization. The available micro-cap blend ETFs remain limited in terms of focus on global level and most are concentrating on the U.S.-based companies. However, one can find a good range of sector-specific micro-cap blend ETFs like those for financials, energy, infrastructure - or those which offer investments based on leverage or inverse style of investments. Following is the list of all 17 exchange-traded funds that FKnol has in its database for ETFs which belong to the Micro-Cap Blend category:
