Meet the S&P TSX Composite Index (OSPTX), the primary guage of the Canadian stock market. With around 250 companies included in the index, it represents around 70 percent of the total market capitalization on the entire set of around 1,600 companies which have their shares listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
This article presents the list of the Canadian companies which are a part of the leading stock market index S&P TSX Composite Index. Details in the table include values of market cap, current stock price, percent returns and YTD gains/loss of 2020 till the time of writing.
